Glass is the look of the moment - Apple made Liquid Glass the design of iOS 26 and macOS in 2025 - and Windows users keep asking how to get something like it on their own desktop. lumabar's dock is that kind of glass, on the edge of your Windows 11 or 10 screen.
Glass, not just transparency
Most "transparent taskbar" tweaks make the bar see-through and stop there. lumabar's glass behaves more like the real material: the wallpaper and any window behind the dock show through it, bent at its rounded edges and softened under the tiles - and it keeps up when something moves behind it.

Two glass styles
- Liquid Glass - clear glass with a light tint; the one in the clip above.
- iOS Glass - a second glass with its own tint, after the iPhone's look.

Or keep it solid
If you'd rather the bar stayed out of the picture, Midnight is a deep, quiet dark, and Black and White are solid. Every widget looks at home in all five, and switching takes a click.

It keeps up with your desktop
The glass follows what's behind it: drag a window under the dock, change your wallpaper or open an app full of colour, and the dock catches up straight away. When nothing behind it changes, it simply rests.
Switch styles in two clicks
- Right-click the dock and choose Settings.
- Under Appearance → Dock style, pick Liquid or iOS. The dock changes on the spot, and the accent colour is one row below.
The rest of what makes the desktop yours - sizes, the top edge, the widgets themselves - is in What is lumabar?.
