About

About lumabar

lumabar is a widget dock for Windows 11 and 10: one bar on the top or bottom edge of the screen that holds your apps and 85 live widgets - music, calendar, weather, system stats, revenue, and your Claude and ChatGPT limits. It exists so you can stop opening apps just to check things: the weather, your next meeting, what's playing, your AI limits or today's revenue stay on the edge of the screen, where the taskbar used to be.

Who makes it

lumabar is built by one person, Asadbek Nosirjonov. Every widget, every update and every reply to an email comes from the same place. Follow along on X at @kenzo_solo and on GitHub.

How it is built

lumabar is a native Windows app written in Rust and React on Tauri. It runs as a normal app, needs no administrator rights and changes no Windows files - close it and the taskbar is back as it was.

Releases so far

13 releases so far, from 0.1.4 on 28 September 2026 to 1.0.1 on 15 October 2026, each one listed in the changelog. The installers are published on GitHub, which is also where installed copies look for updates - every installer is signed, and the app refuses one that is not.

What it does not do

There is no lumabar account, no lumabar server and no telemetry. Your layout, todos and notes stay on your PC, and each widget you connect talks straight to its own service. The details are in the privacy policy.

How it is sold

$5.99 once for a lifetime license, every update included, with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Payments and refunds go through Polar. See the terms, what shipped in the changelog and what is next on the roadmap.
