Connect Supabase

Docs · Updated

Your project's API requests over the last 24 hours against the day before. Its card adds the project's status and region, its users (and how many joined this week), its database size, and requests by REST, Auth, Storage and Realtime.

Tile: Supabase - in the widget picker under Developer.

Before you start

  • A Supabase project.

Steps

  1. Open Account → Access tokens in Supabase and generate a new token.
  2. If you make a scoped token, allow it to read your projects, analytics usage and the database.
  3. Copy the token. It starts with sbp_.
  4. In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open Developer and click Supabase to add it.
  5. Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
  6. Fill in the card as shown below and press Connect. lumabar checks it with one real read - if anything is wrong, the card says what.

What to enter

Field on the cardWhat goes in it
TokenThe access token, sbp_…
ProjectOptional - the project's name or reference ID. Empty reads your first healthy project.

Good to know

  • The database numbers come from a read-only SQL query. Nothing in your project is changed.

If it doesn't connect

The card says what went wrong, in words like these:

“API requests: Token lacks Analytics read”

The token may not read analytics usage. Create one that may.

“Database: Token lacks Database read”

The token may not read the database. Create one that may.

“Database: Not answering - paused?”

The project is paused or not responding. Restore it in Supabase.

Still stuck? Send feedback or write to us - we answer every message.

Privacy

The key is stored only on this PC, is sent only to Supabase, and is used only to read. To remove it, click the tile and press Disconnect, or right-click the tile and choose Logout.
