Before you start
- A SuperGrok or X Premium+ subscription, and xAI's Grok CLI (Grok Build).
Steps
- Install the Grok CLI. In PowerShell: irm https://x.ai/cli/install.ps1 | iex
- Run grok and sign in with your SuperGrok or X Premium+ account.
- In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open AI and click Grok Usage to add it.
- Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
- Press Check again. The tile fills in as soon as it finds the sign-in.
Good to know
- lumabar only reads the sign-in the Grok CLI saved.
If it doesn't connect
The card says what went wrong, in words like these:
“The tile stays locked”
Run grok and finish the sign-in, then press Check again.

Privacy
lumabar stores nothing for Grok: it reads the sign-in that Grok's own tool saved on this PC, sends it only to Grok, and never changes it. To disconnect, sign out in that tool.
