Unique visitors over the last 7 days, how that compares with the week before, and a 14-day line. Its card adds today's visitors, who is on the site right now, and 30-day visitors, pageviews, bounce rate and visit duration.
Tile: Plausible - in the widget picker under Analytics.
Before you start
- A site in Plausible, on the Business plan (the Stats API comes with it) - or your own self-hosted Plausible.
Steps
- In Plausible open the account menu → Settings → API keys and click New API key.
- Choose the Stats API key type and the team your site belongs to.
- Copy the key. Plausible shows it only once.
- In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open Analytics and click Plausible to add it.
- Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
- Fill in the card as shown below and press Connect. lumabar checks it with one real read - if anything is wrong, the card says what.
What to enter
| Field on the card | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Site | The site's domain exactly as Plausible lists it, e.g. example.com |
| API key | The Stats API key |
| Server | Optional - only for self-hosted Plausible, e.g. https://stats.example.com |
Good to know
- Plausible allows 600 requests an hour per key. The tile reads every 10 minutes, a small part of that.
If it doesn't connect
The card says what went wrong, in words like these:
“Plausible rejected that key”
Copy the whole key again, or create a new Stats API key.
“Plausible found nothing there”
Check the Site matches the domain in Plausible, and that the key's team owns that site.

Privacy
The key is stored only on this PC, is sent only to Plausible, and is used only to read. To remove it, click the tile and press Disconnect, or right-click the tile and choose Logout.
