Your follower count. Its card adds your post count.
Tile: Instagram - in the widget picker under Social.
Before you start
- For the reliable way: an Instagram professional account (Business or Creator - switch in the Instagram app's settings) and a free Meta developer account.
Steps
- At Meta for Developers create an app and choose the Business type.
- Add the Instagram product and open API setup with Instagram business login.
- Add your Instagram account, then click Generate token next to it, log in, and copy the token.
- In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open Social and click Instagram to add it.
- Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
- Fill in the card as shown below and press Connect. lumabar checks it with one real read - if anything is wrong, the card says what.

Good to know
- A token lasts 60 days. lumabar renews it every week while the dock runs, so it does not run out.
- Without a token lumabar tries your public profile, but Instagram usually asks for a login instead. Then the follower count you type is shown as-is.
If it doesn't connect
The card says what went wrong, in words like these:
“That is a Facebook token”
Tokens that start with EAA come from Facebook Login. Generate the token under API setup with Instagram business login.
“Instagram shares follower counts only for professional accounts”
Switch the account to Business or Creator in the Instagram app.
“Instagram did not accept that token”
It expired or was copied in part. Generate a new one.

Privacy
The key is stored only on this PC, is sent only to Instagram, and is used only to read. To remove it, click the tile and press Disconnect, or right-click the tile and choose Logout.
