Live prices and the day's change for up to five tickers, with the day's line on the chart tiles.
Tiles: Stock, Stock Chart, Stock Watchlist - in the widget picker under Stocks.
Before you start
- A free Finnhub account.
Steps
- Sign up at Finnhub and confirm your email.
- Your API key is on the dashboard. Copy it.
- In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open Stocks and click Stock, Stock Chart or Stock Watchlist to add it.
- Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
- Fill in the card as shown below and press Connect. lumabar checks it with one real read - if anything is wrong, the card says what.

Good to know
- The free plan is enough. Prices refresh every minute, well inside Finnhub's limit.
- Change the tickers any time: right-click a stock tile and choose Change stock… or Edit watchlist….
If it doesn't connect
The card says what went wrong, in words like these:
“Finnhub rejected that key”
Copy the key again from your Finnhub dashboard.

Privacy
The key is stored only on this PC, is sent only to Stocks (Finnhub), and is used only to read. To remove it, click the tile and press Disconnect, or right-click the tile and choose Logout.
