What you actually kept - your net revenue after Stripe's fees and refunds - for today, the last 7 days and the last 30 days, the payments behind it, and the last 14 days as a line.
Tiles: Stripe, Stripe Chart - in the widget picker under Finance.
Before you start
- A Stripe account. A test-mode key works too.
Steps
- Open API keys in the Stripe Dashboard and click Create restricted key.
- Name it, for example lumabar. Leave every permission at None, except Balance and Balance transaction sources - set those two to Read.
- Click Create key, confirm with your two-step code, and copy the key. It starts with rk_live_ (or rk_test_ in test mode), and Stripe shows it only once.
- In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open Finance and click Stripe or Stripe Chart to add it.
- Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
- Fill in the card as shown below and press Connect. lumabar checks it with one real read - if anything is wrong, the card says what.
What to enter
| Field on the card | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| API key | The restricted key, rk_live_… or rk_test_… |
Good to know
- Only charges and the refunds that reverse them count as revenue. Payouts, transfers and fees moving on their own do not.
- A test-mode key shows test payments, and the card says Test mode so nobody takes it for real money.
If it doesn't connect
The card says what went wrong, in words like these:
“Stripe accepted the key but it is not allowed to read this”
Stripe names the missing permission in the message. Edit the key in Stripe, set that permission to Read, and connect again.
“Stripe rejected that key”
The key was not copied whole, or it was deleted. Stripe shows a key only once - create a new one.

Privacy
The key is stored only on this PC, is sent only to Stripe, and is used only to read. To remove it, click the tile and press Disconnect, or right-click the tile and choose Logout.
