Your ChatGPT plan's Codex limits - the 5-hour and weekly windows - with when each starts over, and your plan's billing dates when ChatGPT shares them.
Tile: ChatGPT Usage - in the widget picker under AI.
Before you start
- A ChatGPT plan with Codex (Plus, Pro, Business…), and Node.js for the Codex CLI.
Steps
- Install the Codex CLI: npm install -g @openai/codex
- Run codex login and choose to sign in with ChatGPT.
- In lumabar, right-click the dock, choose Widgets…, open AI and click ChatGPT Usage to add it.
- Click the new tile on the dock. Its card opens.
- Press Check again. The tile fills in as soon as it finds the sign-in.
Good to know
- These are Codex's limits on your plan. The ChatGPT app's own chat limits have no API, so no app can show them.
- lumabar only reads the sign-in Codex saved.
If it doesn't connect
The card says what went wrong, in words like these:
“The tile says to sign in again”
Run codex login again, then press Check again.

Privacy
lumabar stores nothing for ChatGPT: it reads the sign-in that ChatGPT's own tool saved on this PC, sends it only to ChatGPT, and never changes it. To disconnect, sign out in that tool.
